COMMUNITY AWARDS
The Georgia Forensic Coaches Association recognizes individuals who go above and beyond to support speech and debate. Each year, we honor outstanding contributors with two prestigious community awards — the J. Richard Bracknell Service Award and the Administrator of the Year Award. Both awards are presented annually at the Varsity Speech & Debate State Championship. Through these recognitions, the GFCA celebrates the individuals who make our community thrive.
ADMINISTRATOR OF THE YEAR AWARD
Awarded to a middle or high school administrator from a GFCA member school who champions speech and debate within their institution and beyond. These leaders foster program growth, advocate for students, and ensure speech and debate remains a valued part of their school’s culture.
J. RICHARD BRACKNELL SERVICE AWARD
Given to an individual or organization demonstrating exceptional service to the GFCA and its community. This award highlights those whose dedication, leadership, and support strengthen speech and debate across Georgia.
