Miller Wins Speech Coach of the Year

The Georgia Forensic Coaches Association (GFCA) proudly announces Jeffrey Miller of Marist School as the recipient of the prestigious Speech Coach of the Year honors for 2023.

Since 1983, the GFCA has bestowed the Coach of the Year title to honor outstanding individuals who have demonstrated exemplary coaching abilities and made significant contributions to the field of speech and debate in Georgia. In 2011, the Association expanded this recognition to include both a Debate Coach of the Year and a Speech Coach of the Year, acknowledging the unique skill sets required for each discipline. With this honor, Jeffrey becomes the third coach in Association history to win both Coach of the Year awards. Jeffrey was Debate Coach of the Year in 2012.

Jeffrey Miller has consistently demonstrated a profound commitment to empowering students through the art of speech and public speaking. Miller's coaching methods have inspired students to discover their unique voices, hone their communication skills, and deliver powerful and impactful performances. His dedication to nurturing talent and fostering a love for public speaking has propelled Marist School's speech team to achieve notable accolades and accolades throughout the season.
