2023-2024 GFCA Executive Committee Announcement
The Georgia Forensic Coaches Association (GFCA) is pleased to announce the results of the recent elections for its open leadership positions. The newly elected individuals will play crucial roles in shaping the future of the GFCA and advancing speech and debate education in the state of Georgia.
Jonathan Waters, from Lassiter High School, has been re-elected as the Director of Operations. As Director of Operations, Waters will oversee the administration of the State Championship events. His term will last until 2025.
Richard Bracknell, from Carrollton High School, has been re-elected as the Director of Finance. As Director of Finance, Bracknell will oversee the GFCA's financial operations and work diligently to ensure the association's financial stability and sustainability. His term will last until 2025.
Brianna Crockett will be leaving the committee at the end of this month, so the Executive Committee appointed Jeffrey Miller of Marist School to serve out the remainder of her term as Director of Programs. In his role as Director of Programs, Miller will lead the development and implementation of various educational initiatives and help support the growth of Georgia speech & debate. His term will conclude in 2024.
